When?

Friday afternoon - Sunday noon, September 12-14, 2003

Three leisurely days and two overnights. We know some of you might not be able to stay for the entire time. Please just let us know when you'll arrive and how long you'll be able to stay with us. Saturday is the Big Day (Saturday late afternoon specifically) so if you can only make it up for one day, that would be it.

Where?

For the entire weekend, we'll have exclusive use of all the cabins at the Shasta Wilderness Resort, a.k.a. Pinegri-la, a quiet retreat near Mount Shasta and Castella, CA. You'll love it! The large, family-style cabins have been carefully restored by owners John and Beth. They're fun and comfortable, and you'll be staying in them as our guests, of course. Although it is a bit of a drive, once you get there, you'll only need to lay around in hammocks, dip in the swimming holes, take quiet walks in the forest and eat lots of yummy food. Let us know if you'd like to come early or stay later so we can arrange for 1 or 2 of the cabins separately.

Oakland, CA (4 hours, 270 miles)
Sacramento, CA (3 hours, 200 miles)
Redding, CA (1 hour, 50 miles)
Medford, OR (1 1/2 hours, 100 miles)
